Chronicle – Greatest Hits
CD (Item 498765) Volt/Stax, Early 70s — Condition: Used
A nice collection of early work by The Emotions – pulled from their 2 early albums for Volt, as well as a few singles for the label. The set came out in 1979, and is clearly designed to catch the eye of late 70s customers hopped up on the group's disco hits – but the tracks were all recorded in the early 70s, and have a great Memphis soul sort of approach. Titles include "Baby I'm Through", "Stealin Love", "The Best Part of A Love Affair", "So I Can Love You", "Show Me How", "From Toys To Boys", and "Baby I'm Through". 14 tracks, and many are produced by Isaac Hayes & David Porter! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
