An excellent soulful disco album on the great TSOB label! Drummer, producer and band leader Norvell Holmes' name isn't likely to ring a bell for even hardcore 80s groove and disco fans, but this is an amazingly great album of modern soul with a polished feel to both the club cuts and mellower numbers, solid 80s groove cuts from start to finish! The group plays with a tight ensemble funk feel, with the tracks nicely fleshed out with horns and even a bit of strings.
