Blues
CD (Item 611535) Polskie Nagrania (Poland), 1971 — Condition: New Copy
An enigmatic set from Poland – one that's definitely got the bluesy touches promised in the title, but which also served up some other compelling sounds as well! Breakout's not just a straight blues rock combo – at least not in the mode of US or UK groups of the time – as they use their initial blues inspiration here for some other expressive modes as well, almost getting a bit pensive at times, in ways that make for a really surprising set. The guitar is great throughout, and the Polish vocals are pretty interesting too – and titles include "If I Were The Wind", "Misery Came To Me", "She Went A Different Road", "Tonight", and "Color My Dreams". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
