CD (Item 518349) Cinevox (Italy), Late 60s/1970s — Condition: New Copy

A beautiful package that brings together the best themes from Ennio Morricone's work for Cinevox records – presented here in a 2CD, 40 track collection that's overflowing with greatness! The focus here is often on the mellower, moodier, dreamier tunes from Morricone oeuvre – the kind of work that's best associated with the Mondo Morricone sets from years back, and which still represents our favorite side of his recordings. And while there's nothing here that hasn't been reissued before (save for a few tunes in "stereo premiere"), our hats are off to Cinevox for the track selection on this one! Includes work from the soundtracks to L'Assoluto Naturale, La Cosa Buffa, Anche Se Volessi Lavorare Che Faccio, Mussolini Ultimo Atto, Forza G, Metti Una Sera A Cena, Giu La Testa, Cosi Com Sei, Il Gatto, I Giocattolo, Occhio Alla Penna, Un Sacco Bello, Fatti Di Gente Per Bene, and La Donna Della Domenica.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
