Actually, a quite lovely, jazzy and sometimes sultry soundtrack composed by Alessandro Alessandroni and orchestrated by Francesco De Masi – for a 1969 film with the classy, classy title of Lesbo! The sound is a mix of summery, laidback jazzy grooving with lusher strings at points, but still done with a tight groove, with tenser, more dramatic movements and stripped down sequences. We love us some seedy Italian soundtracks, but we also love the more elegant material, and this one's a surprise (and prize) of the latter category! 24 tracks in all: sequences of the title theme "Lesbo" plus the sweet vocal opener "Qualsiasi Cosa", "Crepuscolo Sul Mare", "IL'Isola Dell'Amore" and more.
