Lo Scialo (with bonus tracks)
CD (Item 601116) Saimel (Spain), 1987 — Condition: New Copy
A period score from Mario Nascimbene – done with a nice mix of European modes and tango styles that really come across well, given Nascimbene's great ear for more sensitive sounds! The setting's a nice change from both earlier modes we know from Mario – his dramatic scores for big epics, and some of his sexier styles from love stories – and most numbers are relatively short, with smaller group instrumentation that really preserves the intimacy of the scenes on screen. Titles include "Tema Di Nella", "Bionda Fatina", "Ballo Al Circolo", "Tema Di Nini", "Piccolo Clown", and "Peggy One Step". CD also features 8 more bonus tracks too – all previously unreleased!
