Joytrip (Part 2)/Tell Me
7-inch (Item 587752) Traveler (Finland), 1970s — Condition: New Copy
Sublime 70s soul groovers from Jerline & Friends – a pair of tracks from a Chicago combo that was pretty much unknown outside the city in their time – getting some late love with this 45 release on the Traveler label! "Joytrip (Part 2)" is just that – a great, mid 70s dancefloor soul number with heavy drums, piano and horns driving it along underneath Jerline Shelton's soulful voice and unique phrasing – and some really trippy synths on the outer edge! It's well paired with the flip, "Tell Me" – another dancefloor ready stormer. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
