7-inch (Item 506336) Universal (France), Mid 60s — Condition: New Copy

A second volume of uber classic Serge Gainsbourg 4 song EPs from the heart of the 60s – a pretty amazing little set that brings together 7 picture sleeve 7 inch EPs and a nice booklet – fantastic material from one of his most creatively fertile periods! Some of his most treasured songs are in this package, including absolute essential French pop treasures like "Bonnie And Clyde" and pure classics such as "Comic Strip" and "Bubble Gum" with Brigitte Bardot, but it's much more than a mere vinyl edition of hits. The vintage EPs are packaged beautiful with the original sleeve art, some of which are iconic at this point and a few others we've never even seen. Numbered limited edition, too! The EPs are from 1963-1968, and songs include "Vilaine Fille, Mauvais Garcon", "La Javanaise", "Chez Les Ye-Ye", "Le Temps De Yoyo", "Couleur Café", "New York USA", "Marilu", "Chatterton", "Hold-Up", "Black And White", "Bloody Jack" and more. (Numbered limited edition.)  © 1996-2010, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
