CD (Item 611649) Crimson (UK), Late 60s/Early 70s — Condition: New Copy

3 CDs and 60s tracks in all – hence the title of this great little set – an overwhelming amount of Northern Soul grooves for a very nice price! There's plenty to love here – lots of late 60s/early 70s sounds from Detroit, Chicago, New York, and Philly – and the package is a compelling mix of modes that goes way past the standard Northern sounds, to include some great 70s-styled tracks too! Titles include "Love Love Love" by Len Barry, "Girl Don't Make Me Wait" by Bunny Sigler, "What" by Judy Street, "Get It Baby" by Stanley Mitchell, "I'm Waiting" by Bill Bush, "At The Top Of The Stairs" by The Formations, "Purple Haze" by Johnny Jones & King Casuals, "Don't Take It Out On This World" by Adams Apples, "Bari Track" by Doni Burdick, "Just Can't Get Away" by The Montclairs, "There Was A Time" by Gene Chandler, "Big Lovers" by The Sweet Three, "Rock Me In The Cradle Of Love" by Freda Payne, "Wrapped Tied & Tangled" by Lavern Baker, "You Don't Love Me" by The Epitome Of Sound, and "A Little Togetherness" by The Younghearts.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
