Night Train
LP (Item 612137) Strawberry Rain, 1978 — Condition: New Copy
The biggest and most ambitious set from Indonesian rock pioneer Benny Soebardja – backed again by his group Lizard –and possibly his best ever! The harmonies are richer on Night Train, once again with vocals sung in English, and with a poetic, post-psych vibe that really could have won Benny a bigger global audience. The guitars play off the rhythms wonderfully, though the spacier keys of the preceding album are well represented. The best all around representation of Benny's 70s style on this double LP! Includes "Wise World", "Night Train", "In 1973", "Woman Of Desire", "Struggle For Life", "Looking For Peace", "Signal From Outerspace", "Talked About My Girl" and more. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
