The second of 2 rare Simba Beat compilations from late 60s/early 70s India – commemorating the All-India Beat Contest(s) that putting together regional psych, garage and otherwise gritty combos – assembled by Indian tobacco interests to help sell Simla brand smokes! Much like the equally great earlier Simba Beat set, the combos carry heavy western influences, instrumentation and English language vocals – raw garage rock with heavy drums, organs, searing guitars and wailing vocals by groups including The Fentones, Nomads, Hipnotic Eye, Mini Beats, Velvette Fogg, Black Beats, Eruptions and Brood Of Vipers.
