There's a tight, jazzy vibe running through the set – thanks to backings from Jack Kane – and Barbara stays in that mix of jazz and fuller modes that always made her a standout vocalist in the 60s – one who sometimes was pointed towards more soulful styles, but who always sounds best in a setting like this!
