Electronic Record For Children
LP (Item 598194) Dimension 5/Mississippi, 1969 — Condition: New Copy
Insane work from early electronic musician Bruce Haack! The album's one of a few he recorded for kids – and was done in collaboration with Esther Nelson – in a strange format that has Esther narrating a trip through space, with electronic effects by Bruce, and lots of little stops on planets that are each punctuated by short and weird songs! The songs themselves are worth the price of admission – naively wonderful and weird – but when hooked up with the effects and electronics, the whole thing's sublime. Titles include "Upside Down", "Mara's Moon", "Sing", "Poppies", "Clapping With Katy", and "Spiders". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
