Xango Da Mangueira Vol 3
CD (Item 604705) Tapecar/Discobertas (Brazil), 1978 — Condition: New Copy
Xango Da Mangueira's got a bit of extra help on this set – some musical direction from Ed Lincoln – but the overall sound is still every bit as rootsy as before – filled with those bouncing rhythm lines and joyous chorus vocals that always make his records great! There's just a slight sense of additional instrumentation from time to time – but mostly the record focuses on the lead vocals of Xango, as fluid and feeling as ever – spun out over tunes that include "Quilombo", "Ze Cansado", "Mineiro E", "Chico Jongueiro", "Da No Nego", "A Cobra Sussurana", and "Perdi Minha Alegria". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
