CD (Item 604975) Saimel (Spain), 1969 — Condition: New Copy

A relatively full-figured score for this late 60s war thriller – penned by Angelo Lavagnino with some of his most sensitive sounds of the decade! At times, there's definitely the snapping snare you'd expect from military action – but at others, there's a nicely brooding feel to the music – lots of sound shapes that form quickly, then disperse – moving in this shifting curtain of darkness that really holds the whole record together! Some passages are definitely tensed for drama, but then quickly relax into this fluid feel that's almost unexpected. Titles include "Tirolo", "C'E Pace Con Un Pianoforte", "I Diavoli Neri Del Furher", "E Triste Non Amare", "Cauta Avanzata", and "Ritorno In Campagna". CD also features 6 more bonus tracks too!
