Cookin From The Inside Out
LP (Item 60515) Columbia, 1987 — Condition: Used
Bass-heavy funk from Ohio resident Mico Wave – recorded during a decade when it seemed that the state was overflowing with bass-heavy funk groups! Bootsy Collins produced the record – natch – and the sound here is kind of an extension of the Zapp groove, with some smoother late 80s funk touches. Mico Wave plays most of the instruments, and get some help from Bootsy, Bernie Worrell, and Maceo Parker. Tracks include "Star Search", "Misunderstood", "First Impression", "Sleeping Single", "American Dream", and "Kiss". (Cover has some light wear.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
