A great bit of Philly from Salsoul – done in an older mode that has True Example really stretching out in a harmony sort of way, alongside deeper groove-heavy support on the backings! "Love Is Finally" is a heck of a great number – really hook-heavy and catchy, with alternating male and female lead vocals that almost recall a classic soul duet mode. "As Long" is great too – a bit mellower and more compressed – bubbling along like a key early 70s radio hit. (Promo.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Doobie-doo doobie-doo! One of the catchiest Roy Ayers dancefloor tracks ever – a bassy bumping thumper that wonderfully skirts the line between clubby and funky! 2 of Jean Carn's best tracks for Philly! Both cuts show Jean at her soulful best – with the kind of perfectly sensitive backing that Philly International gave her, which mixed jazz and soul, augmented with a nice clubby groove to keep things pumping. The single's a must-have for fans of ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
