Dilo (Ugh!)
LP (Item 40543) RCA, 1958 — Condition: Very Good+
The title says "ugh!" and there's lots of that in this record! Perez plays in that tight hard way that he used on his best 50s recordings, making his trademark grunt of "ugh!" as the songs change rhythms – in a style that the notes describe as "the only vocal baton in music." Titles include "Patricia", "Why Wait", "Cuban Rock", "Lonely", "Bandido", and "Cose Cose Cose". (Original black label mono pressing with deep groove. Cover has light wear, and a small center split on the bottom seam.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
