The height of French disco – a huge worldwide hit for Cerrone, a nutty bit of space disco that actually holds up pretty darn well over the years! The guy's not really a looker – and the strange "animal operation" cover almost makes this look like a prog rock album – which is where Cerrone probably got his inspiration for the incredible keyboard work on the set – but the record's a killer bit of club that went onto influence generations to come – and is arguably one of Cerrone's best moments ever! Includes the classic "Supernature", a catchy disco groover you'll recognize instantly – plus the tracks "Love Is Here", "Love Is The Answer", and "Sweet Drums". (Cover has some wear, some stains, and a name in marker on the front.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Cotillion, 1980. Near Mint-
Great smooth soul from Wee Gee – a wonderful little record from the dawn of the 80s! The album's a great one, thanks largely to Vernon Bullock, who wrote, arranged, and produced with that uptempo modern style that he brought to his best work of the 70s. The soaring title track is a 10+ ... LP, Vinyl record album

Cotillion, 1982. Near Mint-
80s pop soul at its best – a surprisingly nice balance of modes that's never too cloying, and which sounds a lot better than you'd guess from the heavily dated cover! Stacy's still working with Narada Michael Walden on this one, and the record's got a bouncy little groove on the best numbers ... LP, Vinyl record album

Epic, 1974. Very Good+
Minnie Riperton's first album for Epic – and the record that broke her from a hip Chicago underground artist into one of the seventies' biggest soul divas! The record moves past the baroque soul of Minnie's early years with Rotary Connection and Charles Stepney – and hits a mix of ... LP, Vinyl record album

Heavy Love
Sussex, 1972. Very Good+
Good album by this female-male-female soul trio, with a lot of tracks written and arranged by Van McCoy, with the good New York soul sound that he was laying down with groups like this in the days before he hit the disco. Zulema's on vocals, and she also wrote a few tracks. Cuts include "God ... LP, Vinyl record album
