Nice one! This is a groovy reissue of the soundtrack to Milano Violenta, written by Enrico Pieranunzi and Silvano Chimenti, and performed by the funky studio group Pulsar Music Ltd. The feel of the album is similar to that of some of the best tracks on the Stroboscopia comps – with lots of tight drums, rumbling basslines, and cool electric moments. The whole thing is very groovy all the way through – with no dead moments, and a good mix of cool themes that keeps changing all the time. Titles include "High Tension", "Subway", "Blue Funk", "Cat Theme", "Obsession", and "Dreamland".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Heist films always provided some of the best soundtracks of the 70's, and this one (starring Robert Shaw and Richard Roundtree, and issued in the US as Diamond Shaft) is no exception! A funky classic from Galt MacDermot! The record is Galt's score for the blacksploitation film that starred Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St Jacques – and it's a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes that takes off from the sound of his late 60s work. House Of The Devil
Death Waltz (UK), 2009/2014. New Copy (reissue)
The masterfully eerie original soundtrack to Ti West's House Of The Devil – a late 00s movie that's a pretty great riff take on the suspenseful occult thrillers of the late 60s and early 70s – and Jeff Grace's score is pretty close to perfect! Much like the film, the soundtrack builds ... LP, Vinyl record album
