Another out of the park winner from Schema – a warm blend of real jazz and snapping rhythms – done at a level that's mostly acoustic all the way through, and very much in the best Nicola Conte spirit! Invisible session brings together drummer/producer Luciano Cantone with the team of Paolo Fedreghini and Marco Bianchi – two artists we love from their own work on Schema, heard here in a setting that's even more jazzy and deeply soulful! The sound is very much like the Fedreghini/Bianchi groove, but more acoustic overall – just a hint of electricity on the keyboards and some of the production effects – but mostly music from real drums, percussion, piano, trumpet, tenor, and trombone! About half the tracks have vocals, and rhythms are a mix of bossa, modal, and soul jazz lines – sparkling with the depth of a classic session from the 60s or 70s!
