I Just Can't Stop Loving You/Baby Be Mine (limited edition)
7-inch (Item 616105) Epic, 1987 — Condition: New Copy
The rarer, longer version of the tender ballad from Michael Jackson's Bad era – with the whispered intro by MJ – plus the sweet "Baby Be Mine" on the B-Side! The shorter version of "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" is one of those tracks that became a wedding DJ standard almost immediately, and for good reason! MJ's voice quivers which emotion on the shorter version – but it doesn't have is the genuine longing that comes into play via the spoken intro – and that's what's great about this 45. Duet partner Siedah Garrett's vocals bring even more tenderness to the classic track! "Baby Be Mine" is one of the great Rod Temperton-penned album tracks for Thriller – actually one of our faves from that record! (Limited numbered edition.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
