A heck of a lot of Ray Charles – packed in one sweet little package! The set's a great document of Charles' later work for Atlantic Records – and it features five different albums, each in tiny record-like sleeves – really showing the full spectrum of Ray's talents a the time! There's definitely a bluesy undercurrent to the material, but Charles also showcases some of his jazz talents too – not just in the songs and styles he uses for vocal numbers, but also in the instrumentation that backs him up.
