La Revolucion De Emiliano Zapata (LP sleeve edition – with bonus tracks)
CD (Item 510852) Polydor (Mexico), Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
Fuzzed-up, tripped-out rock and roll from Emiliano Zapata – a really hard-edged group from the Mexican rock scene at the start of the 70s! The combo play here with a sound that's heavy on guitars, but also surprisingly soulful lyrically too – a well-conceived blend of modes that comes off with a real "instant classic" sort of feel, and which might have made these guys a much bigger thing had they ever had a chance to break into the US. A classic side of the South American psychedelic scene – with titles that include "Ciudad Perdida", "Si Tu Lo Quieres", "Nasty Sex", "Melynda", "Todavia Nada", and "Bajo Los Cielos". Also features 3 bonus tracks – "Pigs", "Gonna Leave", and "Nasty Sex (EP version)". (Comes a great little LP style sleeve!) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
