Trio + 1
CD (Item 509394) Adventure Music, 2009 — Condition: Used
A jazzy trio, augmented with some sweet trumpet lines – a beautiful little session that's got all the intimate qualities of Benjamin Taubkin's other work, but a bit more punch as well! Taubkin's piano is joined by the bass of Zeca Assumpcao and drums of Sergio Reze in the core trio – then Joatan Nascimento adds in some trumpet and flugelhorn as well – a great element to underscore the sensitive soul of the tunes, and bring them out with a bit more flourish. One more track features some amazing instruments built and played by Fernando Sardo – and titles include "Pearls", "The Desert Is Here", "Solace", "The Circus Arrived", and "The Sabia Flew". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
