That's "C'ex" as in "sex" – at least that's the way it sounds on the lyrics, which are really more just a shouted version of the title over some very funky rhythms! The tune's a wonderful erotic funk number – of the sort that always makes digging for Euro records of this vintage so great! "Qu'Est-Ce Qu'Il Dit" is a very weird one – another sexy tune, but an odd blend of "Stranger In The Night", some spoken romantic bits, and this slow Hammond organ bit in the background! Two rare stormers from Detroit! September Jones is a hell of a singer who only cut a handful of sides in the 60s – but she really sounds great here on this massive cut with Pied Piper production! Cultures Of Soul, Late 70s. New Copy
Rare late 70s Latin soul from Jade! "The Siesta Is Over" is a killer mix of styles – anchored strongly by funk, thanks of the limber bass line, JBs-inspired horns, raw drums and organ – but it's got a sunny vibe, too, thanks the groovy male and female harmony vocals. The ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

Not a cover of the Afrika Bambaataa classic of the same name – although the cut does borrow the chorus for its own – and instead some mighty fresh work from Fatnice, set to some crackling cosmic beats!
