CD (Item 36486) Schema (Italy), 2000 — Condition: New Copy
Sublime modern bossa – from one of the best bands of the genre! Soulstance are part of the elite cadre of Italian groups that make up Nicola Conte's Schema label – and they're one of the best discoveries to come out of the Italian groove scene in years. We really dug their first album – and this second album takes things to an even higher level, mixing in a brilliant array of influences that include 60s soundtracks, jazzy bossa, and a keen taste for electric keyboards and acoustic percussion. And if all that sounds like a million remix projects that are on the market, forget about it – and put this one to the top of the list, because that's where it deserves to be! Right up there with Conte's excellent Jet Sounds album – and filled with great grooves like "Kickin Samba", "Grasping", "Mutantes", "Blue Grassland", "Riding The Mambo", and "Court Intrigues". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
