A killer CD – filled with funky tracks all picked by Cinedelic Records, with an ear towards the kinds of drums, basslines, and keyboards that have helped these older Italian soundtrack gems stay alive with a younger funky generation! The disc was formerly part of a more expensive special box, but is now presented here in a more reasonable version with just a focus on the music. CD features a whopping 22 tracks in all – with titles that include "Il Grande Racket" by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, "Montreal Non Stop" by Luis Bacalov, "Tira A Rezza Oj Piscatore" by Raoul, "Folk & Violence" by Franco Micalizzi, "Sangue Di Sbirro" by Alessandro Alessandroni, "L'Intoccabile Mr Cliff" by Riz Ortolani, "La Polizia Chiede Aiuto" by Stelvio Cipriani, "Preludio" by Osanna, "Gangster Story" by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, "Inseguimento E Fuga (2)" by Ennio Morricone, and "Kidnap" by Piero Piccioni.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Easy Tempo (Italy), 1975. New Copy
One of the coolest Italian soundtracks we've heard in a long time – a wonderful set of tunes that moves from slinky, to easy, to groovy, and beyond! The tunes start out bubbling very spare and slow – with floating piano, moog, and other nice bits – and as the record progresses, ... CD
Schema (Italy), Early 70s. New Copy
Stunning compilation of Italian grooves from the early 70's – and one that has a slightly different twist than some of the other one's we've been stocking. The folks at Schema have put this one together, and the set's got a feel that's similar to some of the newer releases they've been ... CD
Schema (Italy), 2000. New Copy
A fantastic collection of rare bossa material from Italy! The set's one of the best we've ever seen of this type, and it's a completely fresh batch of tunes that breaks past a lot of the other Italian compilations of recent years. Some of the artists are familiar names – like Morricone, ... CD
Jazzclub (Germany), 1960s/1970s. New Copy
A very hip collection of older funky cuts – ones that have been sampled in recent years by hip hoppers, but which stand up plenty darn great on their own! Most tracks here should be quite familiar from recent uses of their key elements, but they sparkle even more brightly here in their ... CD
