Bad Position/Melting
7-inch (Item 586312) Electric Cowbell, 2011 — Condition: New Copy
A pair of big tracks from Little Shalimar – onetime founder of Chin Chin (of Def Jux fame) and an instrumentalist, DJ, producer, and freely creative dude doing it all by himself in these tracks from his New Pneumonia Blues album! "Bad Position" feels good enough to us – with a slinky bass groove nice and loud in the mix, raw drums and vocals at the center, but there's this weird, kinda kazoo thing going on in the chorus that's trips it out in a good way! "Melting" is good too, with a raw funk undercurrent and some bongos in the mix. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
