Blind Baby
LP (Item 4995) Buddah, 1975 — Condition: Very Good+
A classic album by this righteous soul collective – and one that shows them taking a strong step away from their work at RCA with Harvey Fuqua. This one has the group (ever-enormous as always!) absorbing some of the other elements of modern soul that were floating around at the time – and they make a nice mark for themselves on the album's mix of ballad tracks and uptempo numbers. Titles include "Blind Man", "Blind Baby", "Dream Merchant", "Forever", "I Remember Well", and "Granddaddy" (Original pressing. Cover has some wear.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
