The general groove of this one is sort of a southern funk approach, mixed in with a few smoother northern soul-oriented cuts. Southern funk tracks include "Razor Blade" by Little Royal, "Born To Get Down" by Muscle Shoals Horns, "Dance To The Drummer's Beat" by Herman Kelly, "Hustle To The Music" by Muscle Shoals Horns, and "I'll Hold The Groove" by Miami. Other tracks include "Lady Voo Doo" by Watsonian Institute, "Sunday Morning" by Undisputed Truth, "Clique" by Con Funk Shun, and "Mellow Mellow Right On" by Lowrell. CD also features the bonus cut "Thanks Dad part 2" by Joe Quarterman & Free Soul! (Out of print.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
