Flow Motion
CD (Item 618460) Spoon, 1976 — Condition: New Copy
Can's tuneful, yet oddly offbeat Flow Motion album – their most melodically straight-forward batch of songs to this point, which throws fans for loop to this day – and we love it for that! Can was so fearlessly creative, so brilliant in their boundary-busting, genre-confounding way, that it seems like the "weirdest" thing they could do would be to make a record that sounds a little bit like music other people could make. So here comes Can with some reggae-inspired rhythms and accessible songcraft – but it's still Can, with some longer, stranger instrumental passages and all around other-ness. Includes "I Want More", "Cascade Waltz", "Laugh Till You Cry, Live Till You Die", "And More", "Babylonian Pearl", "Smoke (EFS No 59)" and "Flow Motion".
