Stalemate/Fear Not For Men (LP sleeve edition)
CD (Item 531745) Knitting Factory, 1977 — Condition: New Copy
Killer stuff from Fela – and 2 albums we never see in the original! The Stalemate album has two hard groovers, both with vocals, and both very nicely driving all the way through. Fear Not For Man has a great hard drum sound on the title cut, with a moment that might even be called a break on the intro, then a rolling heavy groove that never lets up. "Palm Wine Sound" is the 4th track on the CD, and is a loping Afro-soul instrumental, with lots of nice sax soloing and a sweeter sound than usual. Nicely packaged – and remastered, too! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
