CD (Item 521683) GDM (Italy), 1972 — Condition: New Copy
Deeply dark work from Ennio Morricone – penned for a cool late Jean Seberg film from the early 70s! Most of the tracks are quite atonal – very eerie numbers that begin at the bottom of sound, then rise up with a hell of a lot of tension and mystery – sounds that must have been quite a strong accompaniment to the film's tense narrative! A few numbers get a bit more familiar Morricone-like – some bolder themes or lighter lovely sounds – but overall, things stay in the more shadow-shrouded style of Morricone's music. The bulk of the score is embedded in the "Sifonia Per L'Attentato" – and other titles include "Tradimento Politico", "Ore 12 St. Germain Des Pres", and "Valzer All'Ambasciata". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
