Bob Dylan Live In Concert – Brandeis University 1963 (180 gram vinyl)
LP (Item 559255) Columbia, 1963 — Condition: New Copy
Early live Dylan at the Brandeis University folk festival of 1963 – tapes discovered at the home of late music writer Ralph Gleason – a treasure he managed to hide from the world for nearly a half century! The material is culled from 2 sets performed by Dylan at Brandeis on May 10, 1963 – seven songs and nearly 40 minutes all together – with young Dylan in fine form, sticking to his originals rather than simply reinterpreting the folk revival canon, as many of his peers would do in such a venue. "Honey, Just Allow Me", "Talkin' John Burch Paranoid Blues", "Masters Of War", "Talkin' World War III Blues", "Bob Dylan's Dream" and "Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
