7-inch (Item 616788) Seven B/Jazzman (UK), Late 60s — Condition: New Copy

A massive triple-pack of funky 45s – one that features six seminal tracks from the New Orleans scene of the 60s – all wrapped up with some great Jazzman notes on the music as well! The grooves here are gritty right from the get-go – no surprise, since the legendary Eddie Bo had a hand in a few of the tunes here – and his spirit really seems to infuse all the other numbers as well! Titles include Eddie's "From This Day On", a duet with Inez Cheatham on "Lover & A Friend", the full unreleased version of Roger & The Gypsies' "Pass The Hatchet" – and the cuts "Little Boy Blue" by Little Buck, "The Good Got To Suffer For The Bad" by Pat Brown, and "Something Out Of Nothing" by Lenny McDaniel & The New Era.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
