Volume one of the legendary compilation of James Brown produced stuff that taught us to love his other work back in the 80's when it was released. We're not going to pretend that we had all the original stuff when we were kids, but we did have this great comp – which includes monster stuff by The JBs, Lyn Collins, and Maceo. Classic JB production stuff, with 13 great tracks, including a bonus CD cut that's not on the original LP (which is out of print, by the way.) This was a sampler's dream in the 80's, and it's still a listener's dream in this decade! Tracks include "Same Beat" by the JBs, "Parrty" by Maceo, "If You Don't Get It The First Time" by the JBs, "Take Me Just As I Am" by Lyn Collins, "Rock Me Again & Again & Again & Again" by Lyn Collins, "Hot Pants Road" by The JBs, "Mama Feelgood" by Lyn Collins, "Think" by Lyn Collins, and "Gimme Some More" by The JBs!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
