Mumunde/Fa No Dem Ara
7-inch (Item 601616) Hippo (Netherlands), 1970s — Condition: New Copy
Two great new tracks from Gyedu Blay Ambolley – both reworks of older Afro Funk classics! "Mumunde" features sharp arrangements from Ebo Taylor – and a tight groove that has the vocals wrapped firmly around the tune's infectious rhythms – a blistering blend of bass, guitar, and percussion – topped with a bit of chorus vocals as well. "Fa No Dem Ara" is even better – a really funky track with some great organ in the middle, and a groove that's almost more James Brown than Afro Funk! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
