More raw rhythms dubbed into infinity by the master King Tubby! The number of incredible dubs produced by Tubby is almost overwhelming, but to us, they're all essentials. Here, Blood & Fire collects his work with producer Glen Brown, with some highlights from the renowned sax player "Dirty" Harry Hall. The rest of the band is like a laundry list of heavies: from Carlton Barrett, Fish Clarke & Santa Davis to Family Man, Robbie Shakespeare, Earl Lindo & Ansel Collins. There's some heavy mid 70s cuts here, like the title track, a take on the Dirty Harry rhythm, and our favorite, the flying cymbal update to the Death in the Arena rhythm "Version 78 Style".
