Amazing sounds from Heldon – a set that's at once electronic and proggy, spare and noisy – really representing a shift in European styles in the mid 70s! Core instrumentation here comes from Richard Pinhas' guitar and electronics, but there's still a bit of a group feel too – lots of minimal, cyclical passages that fold back upon themselves – occasionally with solo inflections that mark that mark the rock origins of the group, but often with more abstract elements that point the way towards a new noise generation to come.
