I Want To Live! – Original Soundtrack
LP (Item 21160) United Artists, 1958 — Condition: Used
One of the greatest jazz soundtracks of all time! Johnny Mandel composed the memorable score for this late 50's film starring Susan Hayward, and the music is played by Mandel's orchestra of west coast players like Jack Sheldon, Bill Holman, Joe Maini, Shelly Manne, and others. The whole thing's a jazz soundtrack lover's delight – and tracks include "Poker Game", "Stakeout", "Trio Convicted", "Death Scene", "The Last Mile", and "Gas Chamber Unveiling". (Red label pressing with deep groove. Cover has some wear, a split spine, splitting on the other seams, and some pen on the back. Label has a bit of pen.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
