Cumbia, descarga and hard salsa-inspired sounds from Colombia – more specifically, the coastal town of Cartagena – a great set material produced by Jose Maria "Curro" Fuentes! Fuentes was the youngest son of the family that founded Colombia's Discos Fuentes label – and went to produce for his own Discos Curros imprint and at Phillips – taking a hands on approach to the production, bringing a focus on live style, vibrant sounds that could drive dancefloors along the coast.
