LP, Vinyl record album

4.50 2

A classic set of 60s bossa tracks by Jobim – one of the few albums he recorded during the decade in the US! This one's got backing by Nelson Riddle, and a gentle bossa sound that's in keeping with Jobim's other work from the time. The real treat, though, are Jobim's vocals – as he sings on most of the tracks, and many of them even feature him in English, which is a real delight! Filled with loads of nice cuts, including "Surfboard", "She's A Carioca", "Aqua De Beber", and "Favela". Very nice! (White label promo. Cover has a promo sticker, a spot of tape with a rip on the spine, a small split on the top seam, and WGN Library letters on the back.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
