Wonderful World Of Antonio Carlos Jobim
LP (Item 18414) Warner, 1965 — Condition: Used
A classic set of 60s bossa tracks by Jobim – one of the few albums he recorded during the decade in the US! This one's got backing by Nelson Riddle, and a gentle bossa sound that's in keeping with Jobim's other work from the time. The real treat, though, are Jobim's vocals – as he sings on most of the tracks, and many of them even feature him in English, which is a real delight! Filled with loads of nice cuts, including "Surfboard", "She's A Carioca", "Aqua De Beber", and "Favela". Very nice! (Grey label mono pressing.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
