A great little spy spoof soundtrack – up there with the best of the 60s, with a sound that's a lot hipper than anything else Steve Allen has ever done! The music was written by Allen, but arranged and conducted by Ronald Stein – and it's got a groovy "Our Man Flint" kind of feel. Tracks include "The Car Chase", "Swingin' Dagger Theme", and "Man Called Dagger" (in both vocal and instrumental versions.) (Cover has a cutout hole.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

This one's got a bluesy jazz approach – set by Ray Charles' version of the title theme, and followed through by Lalo's great instrumental tracks – which mix strings, soul, and just the right jazzy touches to keep things moving along with a subtle groove. A very odd little soundtrack album – and more of an audio record of the TV show than anything else! A groovy groovy soundtrack from Johnny Williams – scored for a goofy heist film starring Natalie Wood, and featuring a wonderful blend of jazzy, bossa, and harmony-styled tunes! A really standout score from Oliver Nelson – a set that's got some of his groovier touches at times, but also features some pretty great straighter scoring as well! Excellent soundtrack work by Jerry Goldsmith – possibly his greatest ever! Jerry's usually a bit staid with some of his scores – but working here on the soundtrack to this James Coburn spy spoof film, he's truly fantastic!
