Electro soul galore, and a really great collection of lesser-known numbers from the early 80s – most of which are served up in rare 12" mixes! The style here is less of the "disco funk" than you'd guess from the title – and more in a mode that brings together loping 80s groove rhythms, slight electro touches, and a bouncy yet soulful approach to the vocals that's mighty nice.
