Harder They Come
LP (Item 29540) Island, 1972 — Condition: Used
A landmark in Jamaican soul and one of the albums that helped break reggae onto the world stage. A nice, nice selection of early '70's reggae, mostly performed by Jimmy Cliff, but with a few equally wonderful numbers by the Maytals & Desmond Dekker, too. Includes classics like the Maytals' "Pressure Drop" and Cliff's "You Can Get It If You Really Want It", "Rivers Of Babylon", "The Harder they Come", and "Sitting In Limbo". (Later US pressing on Mango. Vinyl has a couple marks that play with light clicks. Cover has a cutout hole, some wear, and some small light stains.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
