A treat! This is a stunningly produced 5CD box set featuring some of the greatest work ever done by the legendary Pierre Henry! Henry's best known to the world for the funky breaks on his Messe Pour Les Temps Present, but this set shows his true genius in all its shades. CD 1 features 2 new works -- Une Tour De Babel and Tokyo 2002. CDs 2 and 3 are a double set that features the full reading of the longer theatrical work Apocalypse De Jean. CD 4 includes the 1967 work Messe De Liverpool, plus the incredible "Fantasie Messe Pour Le Temps Present", which is a remake of the original, with remixing by Henry and William Orbit. The last CD in the box is not available elsewhere, and includes Henry's groundbreaking 1967 "Granulometrie".
