Legendary Godfather Of Ska Vol 4 – Rise & Fall
LP (Item 608634) Grover (Germany), 1960s/1970s — Condition: New Copy
A nice one in the Legendary Godfather Of Ska compilations of classic and harder-to-find Laurel Aitken material – this one focusing on a pretty long period spanning the early 60s to late 70s – singles issued by Dice, Nu Beat, Blue Beat, Doctor Bird and other labels, plus some previously unreleased bits! It's a healthy tracklist of 20 tracks, from the 60s ska prime era for the most part, plus some sweet later numbers. Includes "You Got Me Rockin", "Skinhead Train", "Rise & Fall", "Shoo Bee Do", "Fire In My Fire", "Whole Lotta Rock", "Sweet Jamaica", "Gimme Back Mi Dollar", "Back To New Orleans", "Shoo Bee Do" and more. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
