Just a bit of electricity here – on a set that also steps out with great acoustic work on trumpet and tenor as well! The legendary John Tchicai joins the Elektro quartet of trumpet, bass, drums, and either laptop or guitar – both instruments that are often used to provide sonic textures to shape the background of the tunes, while Tchicai's tenor blows boldly out front, often with some of his more offbeat tones in years.
